MT Cleans-Up Lockheed Martin - Colorado Site 2 Months Ahead of Schedule Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation contracted MT to remediate 22,000 tons of VOC and PCB contaminated soil at the Lockheed Martin Astronautics Site in Littleton, Colorado. In only 4 month's time, MT successfully completed site operations using the transportable Indirect Thermal Desorption System (IDS), a non-contact condense and collect technology, with a compact footprint of 70 x 80 feet. A mobile Water Treatment System accompanied the IDS to treat condensate resulting from the soil treatment operations. All treated soil and emissions measurements complied with state and federal regulation requirements. MT's Indirect System Granted National TSCA permit In September of 1998, EPA granted Maxymillian Technologies, Inc. a national permit under authority of the Toxics Substance Control Act (TSCA) to operate the mobile Indirect Desorption System (IDS). The permit is the first of it's kind in permitting the use of a non-incineration treatment technology to remove PCBs from contaminated soils. In an effort to update the public about the IDS, MT developed the technical paper - Maxymillian Technologies' Indirect Thermal Desorption System (IDS): A Technology Overview. This paper outlines the system's development, components, complete soil treatment process, and successful performance results. If interested in receiving a copy of this paper, please send an email to inquiries@maxymillian.com New Worcester Area Office Maxymillian Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of the Worcester, Massachusetts area office.
